So, like the title of this post says, these are my 4 favorite pictures from The Hamptons. Two of them were taken by Kirill. Visit his photo site www.kirillwashere.com. And two were taken by the wonderful Sammi. Alex's creation of a paper plate with our name on it was genius, and I want to congratulate Zach and Evan for pulling off the photo we dreamed of taking. I'm not going to lie, us with Aoki was fucking fun. Really fucking fun. If a stenographer was hired to transcribe our words for the night, I guarantee "I love you man" was said more times than any other phrase.

Finally, Gabby was our angel under the dj booth who fed us both wine and cigarettes for the duration of the night. As for Sammi, both of us offered to quit smoking for her, if she would agree to a three-way marriage. Is Sammi The Chainsmokers' Kryptonite? Or, does she have the possibility to be The Chainsmokers' Yoko Ono? Only time will tell. As for DJ Mel DeBarge, I am currently making my own playlist on my computer so you can hop on and rock out anytime I'm djing and you are in the same room. Your set was short, but I think my head was going to explode. Any time a night is closed out with "I'm a bitch," I think of it as a success.

Hello Everyone:

We're not going to lie, A Coterie has turned out to be a disappointment. A post has not gone up in over a month, and many have claimed the site to be defunct. Therefore, we, as the cordial chainsmokers, have decided to highjack the site and turn it into our own blog. First, we thought about changing the site to a Tumblr blog account (like our favorite Purple Diary), but we decided that janky-ass blogspot is more symbolic of us as a whole.

We have a twitter and like to update it, but, honestly, we really think twitter is one of those things that everyone's on, but nobody gives a shit to actually read. Plus, we, as the cordial chainsmokers, are men of many words (well, at least more than 140 characters). So, we now give you a changed A Coterie. Think of it more as "Extreme Makeover: Blog Edition" or "True Life: I created a blog that was working, but then went to shit, and now it should work again." Enjoy.

WEDNESDAY APRIL 22:

It's our Wednesday DJ partner in crime Mess Kid's birthday. Expect him to look especially SUAVE on his special night. Also, there is a surprise guest guest that we aren't allowed to say, but, judging by the past weeks, you know it's going to be solid. As usual, open tequila bar from 10-11 and MSB will be going hard. Come and screw up your Thursday with the fearless foursome of the ElectroKids.

THURSDAY APRIL 23:

GBH is doing a new party at the Thompson Hotel featuring the cordial Chainsmokers. To set the mood correctly for this party, think of it as a Thursday stint in rehab to cancel out your Wednesday binge. GBH parties are always fun, and we consistently enjoy working with these guys. Oh, and about the rehab thing, we guess it's rehab with a full bar (and Rhett gets to play some disco and funk.)

FRIDAY APRIL 24:

What the hell is going on in this picture? Well, it's NYC band The Rapture of "Get Myself Into It" and "House of Jealous Lovers" fame. We are spinning with them performing at Le Royale on Friday from 11pm-4am. Our love for Le Royale is almost as big as A Coterie's love for the use of alliteration (that means huge.) Sorry there is no proper invite for this yet, but here is Le Royale's information:

Regardless of a few hiccups - turntables breaking, a Serato box shorting, and the FDNY tending to an unconscious head wounded attendee - the Chainsmokers were able to convert a banal basement into a den of eccentricity.

In the end, as promised, Saturday at the Annex was a sweaty night, with some songs old, some songs new, some equipment borrowed, and some dancing shoes.

Andre got the spray can out, imported his Parisian Le BARON to NYC, and invited all his friends to celebrate the release of Belvedere IX.

Paul spun the vinyle while dj A-Trak spun the beats. Waris chatted it up over a doodle. Andre Benjamin sported his Bixby. Terry mugged for a shot while Mickey ate a sandwich. Mary-Kate was there, as the story goes, but no one has the proof.

Pop rocks were popped. Belvedere was passed. And on it went until...well, even now, it's probably still going on.

The Chainsmokers showed up at midnight with their torn Twister mats, stick-on 'staches and homemade unibrows, megaphones, Mr. G and Ja'mie King, wicked mosh-ups, mash-ups, and mock-ups, smokes, smokes, and, as it goes, more smokes.

The crowd swelled beyond capacity and the front door shut down. We were lucky enough to be shut in. As for those shut out…this was Friday night at Le Royale.
